Women Power Series: Amritha - a Senior Copy Editor in the world of Media
Amritha Sindhu aka @amrithasindhu describes herself in such simple wordplay that we are sure she is very good at her work - "Wander often, wonder always."
We had to ask her what #WomenPower stood for and what #eachforequal means to her.
Here are her answers to our three questions:
Question 1: What do you do for a living?
Answer: I work as a senior English copy editor at a media company.
Question 2: Which is that one thing about being a woman which has helped you achieve success in your life?
Answer: There's nothing I can point out. I've always had to work hard to earn my privileges.
Question 3: Zouk’s theme this Women’s day is #eachforequal. What is that one thing which you feel should be equal for everyone, but is not for women?
Answer: I travel a lot, sometimes on my own. So I'd appreciate it a lot if people stopped gawking at women who are by themselves just as they seem to be unbothered about men who travel alone.
